André M. Doucette is a recording engineer and music producer with more than 15 years of experience in tracking and mixing  music. With an extensive knowledge in audio recording equipment, live audio recording and music production, André is considered by many to be a highly resourceful professional in the craft of making records.

Andre has run recording sessions for mega-clients such as 30 Seconds To Mars, Ryan Marshall of Walk Off The Earth; Actors Mark Hildreth and Mary Zilba of Real Housewives of Vancouver. More noteably, he has engineered sessions for legendary producers Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Kiss)  and Mark ‘Flood’ Ellis. (U2, The Smashing Pumpkins, Placebo).

His passion for music is transparent and he has a deep passion for learning and mentoring. In 2017 André taught a course on audio engineering for Trebas InstituteTrebas Institute, Toronto. The response from this course was extremely positive, and students were captivated by Andres unique teaching style.

During his early years André was given the unique opportunity to accompany 30 Seconds To Mars during their tour of the Americas opening and co-headling with the likes of Audioslave, The Used, My Chemical Romance and countless others. The experience gave him a unique perspective of the inner-workings of the industry, learning directly from the artist and their label about what makes a recording artist successful. During this time 30STM was signed to Virgin Records and managed by The Firm and later, Azoff Music Management.

While being very well versed in audio recording and music production, André also holds many skills in studio construction and acoustic design. He has completed professional recording rooms for Jared Leto of 30 Seconds To Mars, EDM group Dvbbs, producers Eddie Kramer and Marcus Kane among others.

André currently holds an engineering position with the team at El Mocambo Productions. Additionally, he maintains many recording artist and studio clients and can be frequently found mixing front-of-house for high-profile live events.
